Essential Packs LLC ("Essential Packs," "we," "us," or "our") provides a power-bank rental service through mobile applications, web-based interfaces, rental kiosks, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains the information collected through the Services, how it is used and disclosed, where it may be processed, and the choices available to users.

Information We Collect
We collect information users provide when creating or using an account, including an email address or telephone number and a user nickname. Depending on the sign-in method selected, authentication information may also be received from supported sign-in providers.
We also collect information generated through use of the rental service, including information associated with rental transactions and the operation of kiosks and power banks.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Essential Packs does not store complete payment card numbers, CVV security codes, or other complete card credentials.

Location Information
The app uses location information when a user searches for nearby rental locations and in connection with scanning QR codes for rental. Location access is subject to the permissions available through the user's device.

Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, including IP address, device identifier, operating system, and device or application information.

Rental and Transaction Information
We store information associated with rentals and use of the Services. This may include customer or account identifiers, rental and transaction records, and technical information associated with the kiosk, power bank, or rental session.

Payments
Payments are processed using Stripe. Essential Packs' backend does not store complete payment card numbers, CVV security codes, or other complete card credentials. The backend may store customer IDs, payment IDs, or similar identifiers supplied by Stripe so rental transactions and payment-related functions can be administered.

Third-Party Services and Software
The Essential Packs app uses third-party services and software components to provide functions such as mapping, authentication, payments, customer service, QR-code scanning, notifications, and device functionality. These services and components may include Google Maps, Firebase (Google), Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Sign in with Apple, Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Intercom, and supporting application components. Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy practices when their services are used.

How We Use Information
We use information to provide and administer the Services; create and maintain accounts; locate rental stations; initiate, manage, and complete rentals; process payments; operate and troubleshoot kiosks and applications; provide customer support; maintain security; prevent fraud or misuse; communicate service-related information; and maintain and improve the Essential Packs network.

How We Share Information
We may disclose information to service providers that perform functions necessary to operate the Services, including payment processing, cloud or backend infrastructure, authentication, mapping, communications, and customer-support services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Services, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Essential Packs does not sell or rent customer personal information and does not share customer personal information for third-party advertising.

International Data Storage and Processing
Essential Packs' current backend provider stores customer account, rental, transaction, and technical data on servers physically located in Singapore. Accordingly, information collected from users in the United States may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in Singapore. Privacy and data-protection laws in Singapore may differ from those in a user's state or country.

Data Retention
Customer information and related account, rental, payment-reference, and technical data may be retained while a customer maintains an account or uses the Services. Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required for accounting, transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, or compliance with law.

Account and Data Deletion
Users who can access their account may use the deletion function available in the Essential Packs app to request deletion of their account. Users may also contact Essential Packs at support@essential-packs.com to request deletion of personal information associated with their use of the Services. We may request reasonable information to verify identity before processing a deletion request.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled through the Services. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent or deletion, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

Your Choices and Rights
Users may manage device permissions through their device settings and may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Additional privacy rights may be available depending on the user's place of residence and applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, or legal requirements change. When appropriate, we will post an updated version and revise the effective date.

Terms of Service
This User Agreement governs your access to and use of the Essential Packs mobile application, website, charging stations, portable power banks, and related rental services. By starting a rental or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these terms.
Users must provide accurate information when required to use the Services and are responsible for activity associated with their rental transaction and payment method.
Renting a Power Bank
A rental begins when the Essential Packs system confirms that a power bank has been released to you. Pricing and any applicable authorization or deposit will be displayed before the rental is confirmed.
Returns
A rental ends only when the power bank is successfully inserted into a compatible Essential Packs station and the system confirms the return. Customers should verify that the return has been accepted before leaving the station.
Payments and Authorizations
By starting a rental, you authorize Essential Packs and its payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your transaction for applicable rental charges, authorizations, deposits, fees, and other amounts disclosed before or during the rental.
Lost, Unreturned, or Damaged Power Banks
You are responsible for the power bank while it is in your possession. If a power bank is not returned within the permitted rental period, is lost, or is damaged beyond normal use, an additional fee may apply as disclosed through the service.
Proper Use
Power banks and charging stations may be used only for their intended purpose. Users may not open, alter, tamper with, damage, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse Essential Packs equipment.
Ownership of Equipment
All Essential Packs power banks, stations, and related equipment remain the property of Essential Packs or its applicable equipment provider. Renting a power bank does not transfer ownership to the customer.
Service Availability
Station availability, power bank availability, network connectivity, and app functionality may vary by location and time. Essential Packs does not guarantee that a station or charged power bank will always be available.
Refunds and Billing Questions
Customers who believe they were charged incorrectly should contact Essential Packs promptly at billing@essential-packs.com so the transaction can be reviewed.
Third-Party Services
Essential Packs may use third-party providers for payment processing, mapping, communications, hosting, analytics, and other technology necessary to operate the service. Use of those services may also be subject to applicable third-party terms.
Privacy
Personal information associated with the service is handled in accordance with the Essential Packs Privacy Policy.
Access Restriction or Termination
Essential Packs may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the service when reasonably necessary to address fraud, nonpayment, misuse, security concerns, violations of this Agreement, or risks to customers, venues, equipment, or the service.
Changes to These Terms
Essential Packs may update this User Agreement from time to time. Updated terms will be made available through the app, website, or other appropriate notice. Continued use after an updated agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
